Hifz Program
ISRI has a pre-school Hifz class for the students who are interested in memorizing the whole Qur'an. The class started years ago for the Middle school kids who are able to read Arabic by themselves. The class main focus is memorization with the emphasis on Tajweed rules. Sheikh Awad teaches this class.
In 2014-15 ISRI initiated a new Hifz class for the students who are exceptional in Memorization. The majority of this class are Pre-K and KG. They are not ready to read Arabic fluently, but they memorize through listening with correct Tajweed. Ms. Nadia was the teacher for this class.

Visual Arts
Ms. Hanadi is a great artist. She is working in integration with the other teachers to produce masterpieces of Visual Arts. Arts display boards at ISRI is one of the great attractions for ISRI's visitors. Students may go to visit some places around RI to learn and simulate Arts of different cultures.

Performing Arts
ISRI was pleased to launch the first showcase night series for the academic year 2014-15. Every department picked one night to perform a show in front of parents at the gym. The performance included reciting Qur'an, singing Anasheed, giving speeches, acting out plays, reciting the poem, etc. Students were fabulous to show how learning is taking place inside classrooms. Parents were amazed to see their kids performing confidently and enthusiastically. Some departments chose to perform a scientific experiment and present some projects of what their kids used work on during their learning. This year ISRI will partnership with JCDRI to increase the Performance of Arts and Drama. Both ISRI and JCDRI will design a program at CDL in Providence.
